Students then learned about Western Imperialism of Muslim Empires in section three. Section four taught students about British imperial activity in India. Section five explored how European powers set up spheres of influence within China. Students then took a test on chapter 12.

Finally, students completed a performance task in which they pretended Ingomar was an imperialist power. Students set up a plan to conquer local areas in Union County. Students then took a test on chapter 13.
